From the front, full width veranda, you enter the living/dining room. The room has an extending table and a sofa and two easy chairs. There is Smart TV, Stereo system and the Wi-Fi router. There is also an air conditioning unit and two ceiling fans for the hot nights and if you happen to stay during the cooler months there is a wood burning stove!!
From the living room you enter the kitchen which has an oven, microwave, electric hob, fridge/freezer and small corner seating area. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils and there is a plentiful amount of crockery and cutlery. The kitchen has all cleaning equipment and all the basics for cooking – herbs, spices, rice, pasta etc. It is our second home and therefore has all that you would expect to enable you to live comfortably - you are welcome to use what is in the house and all we ask is that you replace anything that is used up!
Off the kitchen and down three steps is a large room which is used as a utility room. This has a washing machine and a second fridge/freezer which makes an ideal drinks fridge! There is a sink, work surfaces and also a gas double ring – and just to make sure you have enough places to eat there is also another dining table!!
The villa has four double bedrooms each of which has fitted wardrobes. There are three double bedrooms and one twin bedded room. There is also a put-you-up bed and the house could sleep nine people. The bedrooms all have shutters and insect blinds.
There are two bathrooms. One has a bath with a shower over the bath and the other has a walk in shower cubicle. The toilet sewerage works on a soak away system so we ask that only natural waste and toilet paper are put down the toilet!
The double wrought iron entrance gates lead into a circular driveway with two olive trees in the centre. There is a further driveway down the side of the house and both areas provide ample parking for vehicles. There is also a three bay car port with one of the bays used as a wood store.
The house has shaded terraces on three sides with each terrace having outside dining areas. The front terrace has a large dining table which easily seats eight people whilst the side veranda also has a comfortable seating area and a table and is ideal for breakfasts!! The pool side terrace has a small six seat dining table and L-shaped seating area and has stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The terraces give ample shade in the hot summer months. There is also a roof terrace with 360 degree views of the valley and mountains – ideal for sunbathing and early evening drinks and providing some stunning sunsets!
The pool has easy access from the house and is not fenced. Children who cannot swim must be supervised at all times. It is styled on a Roman pool with semi-circular steps leading down to the fully tiled swimming area. The pool is 10 metres in length and 5 metres wide – it is 1.5 metres deep at the shallow end and 2 metres at the deep end. The surrounding area is fully tiled and there is plenty of space around the pool and in the lawned gardens to sunbathe with 8 sun loungers. There are also palm, cypress and ornate fir trees that provide shade. On the far side of the swimming pool there is a pool house which houses the pump and filter system. The pool and gardens are very private and not overlooked by any neighbouring properties.
Beyond the pool is a large orange grove which has seventy two orange trees. The grove provides a further level of privacy
The house is fully equipped and includes bedding and towels – service charges of Electricity and Gas are included. We charge an additional amount for cleaning and Wi-Fi. The house is solar powered, and as the water is also heated by a solar panel it will get very hot when the sun shines – please don’t turn the hot water in the showers fully on to hot!!
