There are 2 bars in the village Bar de Dalt & Bar Casa Raquel - but no shops! The bars are 10 minutes walk from the villa and both have outdoor seating areas situated in the road!! Both serve Desayuna (breakfast) and Menu Del Dia as well as a simple range of other food. Check opening times as they vary depending on the season – mostly open during the day and weekend evenings.
There are also numerous bars in the local villages – Manuel (with a lovely tree shaded square and 4 bars), Simat, Barxeta, Llocnou d’En Follet, Barx, Benifairo de la Valldigna.

The nearest village has a range of small shops – small Charter Supermarket, Butcher, Fruit/Vegetable shop, Baker, Delicatessan.
It has a large charter supermarket that is well stocked. There are numerous bars and cafes.

Puigmola – reputed to be the best Paellas
La Visteta – good food, lovely position and outdoor terrace with views
El Tunel – top rated – Book ahead – opens 1-30-3-30 and 8-30pm
Carpanel – very good restaurant
Casa la Abuela – traditional authentic restaurant
La Picaetade Carmeta – great views of the main market square and cathedral
